Two youths have been charged with the second degree murder in connection with the fatal stabbing of 45-year-old Delphin Paul Prestbakmo.

Police say Prestbakmo, was walking near a mall in Sunday Surrey shortly after 3 a.m. on Aug. 17 when he was killed in what they’re calling an unprovoked attack.

He was found suffering from stab wounds in the 1700-block of 152nd Street, near the Semiahmoo Shopping Centre.

He later died in hospital.

On Thursday, two youths, aged 15 and 16, were each charged with second degree murder.

The two have been in custody since Aug. 22 for failing to abide to court imposed conditions.
