Lewisham stabbing: Four murder arrests after Omar Smith dies following knife fight at chicken shop
A fourth man has been arrested following a fatal stabbing at a chicken shop in south-east London.
Omar Smith, 34, died in hospital on Saturday after being knifed in Grove Park, Lewisham, on Friday night.
Police have since arrested four men on suspicion of murder, Scotland Yard confirmed in the early hours of Tuesday.
A 25-year-old man was arrested on Monday and was in custody at a south London police station.
Two men had been found with head and stab wounds at the scene in Downham Way after police were called to fight at a chicken shop.
The second man who was injured, a 51-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of murder, along with two other men, aged 40 and 46.
The 40-year-old has since been released under investigation and the other two arrested men have been bailed until October.
A special post-mortem examination for Mr Smith held on Sunday at Greenwich Mortuary proved inconclusive and police await the results of further tests, Scotland Yard said.
