Kevin Hart rushed to hospital after serious car accident – digitalspy.com

Kevin Hart has reportedly been taken to hospital after being involved in a serious car accident.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the Jumanji actor and comedian has sustained “major back injuries” following the accident, which left two passengers trapped inside the vehicle.

The crash is said to have happened on Sunday morning (September 1) around 12:45 a.m. in the area of Mulholland Highway and Cold Canyon Road, California.

According to a press release from the California Highway Patrol, Hart was not driving the car at the time of the accident.

The driver of the vehicle lost control turning from Cold Canyon onto Mulholland, where the car veered off the road and rolled down the embankment.

Hart and the driver suffered “major back injuries” and were taken to Northridge hospital to receive medical attention.

Another passenger, who was initially trapped in the car, complained of being in pain, but did not go to the hospital.

At present, no further information has been given on Hart’s condition, but his injuries are said to be not life-threatening.

The cause of the crash is currently being investigated, but the California Highway Patrol states there is no indication that drugs or alcohol were involved.

Hart stars alongside Dwayne Johnson, Karen Gillan and Jack Black in the upcoming movie Jumanji: The Next Level, the sequel to the 2017 box office hit Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
