Air ambulance lands after baby found ‘unresponsive’ in Rainham – Essex Live

A baby has been taken to hospital after reportedly being found unresponsive.

An air ambulance landed in the grounds of Rainham Steel at around 2pm today after being called to reports of a serious incident at a property in nearby Edmund Road.

Police officers also arrived at the scene after being called by the London Ambulance Service.

The infant has been taken to hospital but it is not yet known what condition he is in.

 

A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police were called to a house on Edmund Road in Rainham at 2.21pm by London Ambulance Service following a report of an unresponsive infant.

“Officers attended along with the air ambulance service, the infant was taken to hospital where we await a condition on his condition.

“Enquiries into the circumstances continue. No arrests.”
