Live: Air ambulance lands in Pitsea supermarket car park after ‘serious crash’ – Essex Live

0 0

An air ambulance has landed in an Aldi supermarket car park in Pitsea this afternoon (Wednesday, August 14).

Witnesses claim a ‘serious crash’ has taken place in the car park which caters for several stores in the area.

The car park, along Rectory Park Drive, sits behind High Road and the main route in and out of the area.

It was spotted around 2.30pm and comes after reports of a car accident near a shop close by, although this is yet to be confirmed.

The area is also close to the famous Pitsea Market and sits behind a parade of shops that include Subway, Pizza Hut and the Railway Cafe.

The helicopter, from Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, can be seen right in the middle of the car park outside the Aldi supermarket.

It is still unclear what has happened but Essex Police and The East of England Air Ambulance have been contacted for a comment.
