A teenage boy has been left fighting for life and another was injured in a double stabbing in south-east London.
Police and paramedics were scrambled to Woodpecker Road in New Cross to reports of an assault at 5.30pm Monday evening.
Two teenagers, both males, were found suffering knife wounds and were rushed to hospital.
The first victim, 18, was in a critical condition and the second’s injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
A crime scene was in place in the street.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing, Scotland Yard said.
“Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance attended,” a spokesman for the force said.
“A crime scene remains in place.”
