Four injured, one dead in multiple early morning shootings in the city – wmar2news.com

BALTIMORE — Baltimore Police are investigating multiple shootings that left one dead across the city, early Sunday morning.

Officials said three are injured and one is dead in Southwest Baltimore and one injured following a shooting in Southeast Baltimore.

1:22 a.m.
Officers responded to a shooting in the 1100 block of North Ellamont Street. There, police found a 22-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

2:36 a.m.
Police were called to investigate a shooting in the 1400 block of North Rosedale Street. On the scene, they found a 67-year-old woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the hip. She was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

5:28 a.m.
Officers were called to the scene of a shooting in the Unit block of North Caroline Street. There, they found a man with a gunshot wound to the thigh.

5:44 a.m.
In the 2600 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway, police found a 23-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the buttocks.

5:58 a.m.
Police responded to a “Shot Spotter” alert in the 2600 block of Ellicott Driveway. When officers arrived, they found an unidentified and unresponsive man suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center at University Hospital and died shortly after arrival.

Homicide detectives are leading the investigation.
