A person was taken to hospital after the air ambulance was called to a medical emergency on the North Wales coast.
Paramedics were called to the promenade near Colwyn Bay after 2pm to help a person in an incident described as “medical” in nature by the emergency services.
Police closed off a section of the promenade while medics helped them.
“One patient was taken to Ysbyty Glan Clwyd .”
No further details were available about their condition, or whether they were male or female.
Witnesses said the incident involved a cyclist falling ill, but this has not been officially confirmed.
It is also not clear whether they were taken to hospital via air ambulance, but flight radar data shows that the helicopter did fly to the Bodelwyddan hospital following the incident.
Police reopened the road just before 4pm.
