A WATER slide was reopened minutes after a crash that left a British holidaymaker paralysed.
Families were let back on the Splash ride at Aqualandia in Benidorm despite David Briffaut, 23, breaking two vertebrae.
Footage seems to show him lying on a board as directed.
But Aqualandia said: “The ride is completely safe. Not following the rules was the reason of the accident.”
Yet there are 300-plus complaints on TripAdvisor about injuries and prices.
Golf course green-keeper David, of South Benfleet, Essex, was celebrating the graduation of girlfriend Penny Bristow, 22, when he was hurt last week.

He is in intensive care in Spain, having had a tracheotomy, and he will need a plate in his neck.
His uncle, Mark Pooley, said: “We want to know why this has happened.
“David’s life is never going to be the same again.”
