Several men were seen running from the residence southbound on 204th Street from 80th Avenue
Mounties in the Township of Langley have descended on the Willoughby area after gunshots rang out Thursday afternoon.
According to Langley RCMP, police responded to a report of shots fired after 3 p.m., and were directed to an older acreage property set back from the road on 80th Avenue.
Mounties entered the residence to find that no one had been injured by the gunfire.
Several men were seen running from the residence southbound on 204th Street from 80th Avenue, however. Police have closed 80th Avenue to all traffic between 202A and 206A Streets and 204 Street between 78th and 80th Avenues as they search for the men.
A heavy police presence has descended on the area, with Air One, Lower Mainland Police Dog Services and the Emergency Response Team all attending.
The investigation is in its early stages, but police believe the incident is drug-related.
