Details of injuries suffered by cyclist in accident near Albert Park released – Gazette Live
A cyclist suffered a suspected dislocated or broken shoulder in an accident on Sunday, police have confirmed.
The collision happened at around 2.45pm on Park Road North, Middlesbrough, near Albert Park.
It involved a blue Hyundai IX20 and a male cyclist, who was taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.
Police and an ambulance attended while the Great North Air Ambulance also landed in Albert Park .
A spokeswoman for the North East Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 2.35pm to a report of an RTC on Park Road North in Middlesbrough.
“An ambulance was dispatched and support from the Great North Air Ambulance was requested.
“One person was taken to James Cook University Hospital by road with an arm injury.”
