A woman who was reported missing has been taken to hospital after being discovered by police near woods.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were conducting searches around the Furze Hill estate in Bodmin yesterday afternoon.
The woman, who is in her 40s, was found near woods at about 4pm.
The force spokesperson said she was suffering from the effects of exposure and potential hypothermia.
The air ambulance was drafted in and landed on a green at the entrance to the estate.
The woman was taken to Royal Cornwall Hospital Treliske for treatment as is expected to make a full recovery.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 4.35pm to an incident at a location near the A389 in Bodmin.
“We sent an air ambulance, a land ambulance, and two other resources to attend the incident.”
