Pittsfield police seek information on pedestrian accident that occurred during street festival on North Main Street –

PITTSFIELD — Police are seeking the public’s help as they investigate a pedestrian accident that injured a Lenox man during a street festival on North Street early Thursday night.

Lt. Jeffrey Bradford told WWLP the accident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. in the area of 150 North St. during a 3rd Thursday Street Festival.

A pickup truck, driven by a juvenile, was rolling forward when it hit 57-year-old Neil Atlas. Police assisted at the scene until members of the fire department extricated Atlas from underneath the pickup.

Atlas was taken to the Berkshire Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
