Michael Schumacher, 50, was the most famous face in the world of racing, winning numerous F1 championships for Ferrari.

But after retiring from the sport, Schuey suffered a near fatal skiing accident at Meribel resort in 2013.

The accident caused what is believed to be a traumatic brain injury, and he now requires round-the-clock care from a team of medical professionals.
