Joseph McCann: Scotland Yard offers £20k reward for information leading to arrest of man wanted over abduction of two women
Officers are hunting Joseph McCann, 33, in connection with the attacks on Thursday, April 25, as well as another assault just days prior to those.
The woman were abducted from Chingford and Edgware before being taken to Watford.
They were taken to a hotel in Watford before managing to escape after an attempt to book a room their failed.
Police have described McCann as “extremely dangerous” and a risk to the public.
Investigators have also linked McCann to a third attack which occurred in Watford a few days before, on April 21.
Hertfordshire Police confirmed it is working alongside the Met in attempts to trace the suspect.
McCann has links to Watford in Hertfordshire, Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire and Ipswich in Suffolk.
He is known to use false names, most recently Joel.
Police described McCann as being of muscular build and 5ft 10ins tall.
He has blue eyes, a bald head or shaved blonde hair with a light-coloured short beard.
He also has a slight Irish accent and is described as having a distinctive tattoo of the name ‘bobbie’ on his stomach.
However, officers believe he may attempt to disguise his appearance.
Officers are also still attempting to trace a silver or grey-coloured Ford S-Max people carrier in connection with the offences.
