Driver leaves behind passenger after high-speed car chase in Castle Hills, police say – mySA

Castle Hills police are searching for a driver who fled on foot following a high-speed chase on the Northwest Side early Tuesday.

Officers spotted the driver speeding near Antonian College Preparatory High School in the 6400 block of West Avenue at about 2 a.m. and attempted to pull them over.

The driver refused to stop, and police initiated a pursuit. The chase reached speeds of 85 mph, according to Castle Hills police.

The chase ended on Temptation Street, where the driver got out of the vehicle and fled on foot, abandoning a woman in the passenger’s seat of the car.

A San Antonio Police Department K-9 unit assisted Castle Hills police in their search for the suspect, but they were unsuccessful.
