A MAN died in a horror farm accident this morning.
The incident happened in Ferrybank, Co Waterford at around 10am.
A garda spokeswoman said: “Gardai were called to the scene of an incident this morning Tuesday the 16th of April 2019 at 10am in Ferrybank Co. Waterford.
“A man in his 70s suffered fatal injuries when emptying a septic tank on a farm.
“He was pronounced dead at the scene.
“His body was taken to University Hospital Waterford where a full PM will be conducted.
“The Health and Safety Authority attended scene and will conduct investigation.”
