Edmonton stabbings: Man charged with five counts of attempted murder after spate of knife attacks
A man has been charged with five counts of attempted murder following a spate of knife attacks in north London.
Five people were stabbed between Saturday, March 30 and Tuesday this week in the Edmonton area.
Jason Kakaire, 29, of Cameron Close in Edmonton, was charged with five counts of attempted murder in the early hours of Friday.
He was set to appear in custody at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court later today.
“Officers are not seeking anyone else in connection with this investigation,” Scotland Yard said in statement.
“The investigation was led by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command with officers from the North Area Command Unit.”
