There’s danger in the Dales when Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) is left fighting for her life after Pete Barton (Anthony Quinlan) loses control of his tractor in Emmerdale.
Rhona arrives at the farm to see to the cows but can’t find them, so she gives Pete a ring to find out what on Earth is going on. Hungover, Pete is easily distracted, and when his phone rings he takes his eye off the ball.
He looks up in time to see Matty (Ash Palmisciano) in the way of the tractor and immediately tries to swerve and break, only for the brakes to fail.
Unable to stop, he steers the tractor into the barn where it crashes through the wall and eventually comes to a halt. But unbeknownst to Pete, Rhona was stood on the other side of the wall.
She’s crushed under the debris of the accident and is unconscious, will Pete find her in time?
When he does find her he hurriedly calls an ambulance but he can’t stop the bleeding and it might already be too late. As she’s rushed to hospital Matty is beside himself as the accident was his fault – he knew the tractor was faulty and forgot to warn Pete.
But while Pete actor Anthony Quinlan has hinted that she may well survive, it’s unlikely she’ll be left without injury after such a nasty accident. What’s next for Rhona?
