Emmerdale spoilers – Matty Barton to be blamed for Rhona’s horror accident –

0 0

Emmerdale‘s Matty Barton looks set to face a massive backlash next week after he’s inadvertently responsible for a horror accident at Butler’s Farm.

Matty (Ash Palmisciano) messes up when he fails to pass on a vital message to his cousin Pete about a dodgy tractor.

When Pete (Anthony Quinlan) turns up hungover for a shift on the farm, Matty is too caught up in complaining about Cain Dingle to let Pete know about the potential danger, which Cain had flagged earlier.

In a busy day for Butler’s, Pete’s partner Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) also pays a visit to check on the cows.

When the vet can’t find them, she phones Pete from the barn – causing him to get distracted when he’s behind the wheel of the tractor.

The situation takes a horrific turn when the tractor’s brakes fail, causing Pete to crash straight through the barn and into Rhona.

Rhona falls to the ground, is knocked unconscious and is left bleeding on the floor – and Pete panics as her life is clearly hanging in the balance.

In the aftermath, Pete starts pointing the finger at both Matty and Cain for failing to warn him about the tractor, and a guilt-ridden Matty struggles to make amends.

Will life for the Bartons and Dingles ever be the same and will Rhona survive?
