A 17-year-old teenage boy is fighting for life in hospital after being shot in the street in west London last night.
Police were called by London Ambulance Service to London Road, Isleworth at 7.17pm on Saturday, February 9 to reports of an injured male.
Officers attended and found the youth was receiving treatment from medics for gunshot wounds.
The teen was taken to a west London hospital where he remained in a critical condition on Sunday.
The Met has appealed for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward .
A statement from the force said: “At this early stage officers retain an open mind concerning motive.”
There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.
