SCOTTSBLUFF, Neb. Scottsbluff Police responded to a two vehicle injury accident on the intersection of Highway 26 and 5th Avenue around 9:43pm.
The 2005 Chrysler Pacifica, driven by 20 year old Austin Rhamy, was traveling northbound on 5th Avenue and the 2004 GMC Yukon, driven by 23 year old, Raquel Wurdeman was traveling eastbound on Highway 26 when they collided in the intersection.
According to Scottsbluff Police, both drivers reported that they had green lights in their respective directions of travel.
Both vehicles have estimated damages of $7,000 and had to be towed from the scene. The eastbound lanes of Highway 26 at 5th Avenue were closed for approximately 45 minutes while the accident was being investigated.
Wurdeman and her passenger had complaints of pain but declined be transported by ambulance for treatment.
Scottsbluff Fire and Valley Ambulance assisted on scene.
