ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – Interstate 75 northbound in Anderson County is reduced to one lane after a wreck involving multiple cars including a Tennessee Department of Transportation truck.
Hazmat crews were called to contain and clean approximately 100 gallons of diesel fuel that spilled after the accident.
TDOT representative Mark Nagi said the driver was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
One lane on I-75 northbound is now open.
The wreck happened at mile marker 118 around 3:22 a.m. Tuesday. TDOT expected traffic to be cleared by 7:30 a.m. Southbound traffic is not affected.
