A teenager is recovering after being injured during a snowmobile accident in Sweden Saturday night.
According to deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, the 16-year-old called home around 6 p.m. to say he had been involved in an accident and hurt his leg, but didn’t know his location.
Family members were able to follow his snowmobile tracks and find him in the 6000 block of Redman Road.
He had struck a pole and been ejected from his snowmobile.
He was transported to Strong Memorial Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
