The Duke of Edinburgh was “shocked and shaken” after emerging unscathed from a car crash yesterday in which his Land Rover smashed into another vehicle and rolled on to its side.
Prince Philip, 97, was driving his car away from the Sandringham Estate shortly before 3pm when his car collided with another at a junction on the A149, also known as Queen Elizabeth Way. Two women in the other car were taken to hospital but later discharged.
Pictures suggest that Prince Philip may have been extracted from his overturned Land Rover through the sunroof. His car collided with a Kia as he pulled out on to a main road.
He was uninjured but the two women in the other car were taken to the Queen…
