24-year-old man has died following car accident in Meath –

A man in his 20’s has died following a collision in Meath on Friday.

Gardai attended the scene of the collision which took place at Boynabought, Kilmainhamwood in Kells, Co Meath just after 8 pm.

The collision, which involved two cars left a 24-year-old male with fatal injuries.

The 24-year-old driver alongside the male driver of the other car were brought to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where both were treated for their injuries.


The road where the incident took place in Boynobought is currently closed to facilitate an examination by the Garda Forensic Collision Investigators and diversions are in place.

The coroner has been notified of the death and Gardai in Navan are appealing for anyone that may have witnessed the incident to contact them at  046 903 6100 or on the Garda Confidential line at 1800 666 111 or at any Garda station.
