CLAIBORNE Parish – (11/23/18) Two people have been arrested in a two month long burglary investigation.
According to the Claiborne Parish Sheriff’s Office, detectives have been investigating multiple burglaries and thefts that occurred in the Lisbon area of Claiborne Parish.
Various leads and tips obtained information that led CPSO Detectives to believe these burglaries and thefts were being committed by one group of associated individuals.
On November 6th Bradley J. Swint of Arcadia was arrested and charged with Illegal possession of stolen things, with bond set at $10,000.
On November 16th Darcy Richard Stevens III was arrested and charged with 2 counts of simple burglary, 4 counts of criminal trespass, 1 count of felon in possession of firearm, 1 count of being in possession of a firearm with obliterated serial number, 1 count possession of a stolen firearm, 2 counts of criminal damage to property, and 1 count of theft of a firearm. His Bond is set at $100,000.
This investigation is ongoing. Detectives are still receiving information and recovering property in the other burglary and theft investigations connected to this group. Other suspects are also being identified and more arrests are expected.
