A man is due to appear in court after a “disturbance” in a Grimsby street.
He is charged with possession of a firearm, aggravated burglary and criminal damage in connection with an incident at a house in Caistor Drive, on the Nunsthorpe estate, shortly after 4am on November 15.
On Saturday, Humberside Police issued a statement in a bid to reassure the public.
Chief Superintendent Darren Wildbore said: “We believe this was an isolated incident and there is no risk to the wider public.”
A police spokesperson said “no-one was injured in the disturbance” and anyone with any further information is asked to call 101 quoting log 41 of November 15.
