NEW YORK (FOX 5 NY) – The NYPD is on the hunt for the man who has robbed at least three locations in Manhattan including a synagogue, a residential building and a steakhouse. In the most recent incident, the robber puts his victim in a choke hold.
The assault took place on Nov. 9 at about 12:30 p.m. at the Quality Meats restaurant on West 58th St. The man entered a basement and punched the 35-year-old female victim in her left eye before placing her in a choke hold, according to police. He made off with $400. The victim was treated at a local hospital.
On Oct. 19, the man entered the basement of 215 West 40th St. and pushed a maintenance worker to the ground. He stole the man’s wallet and fled westbound on West 40th St., said police.
On Aug.14, the man broke into the office of the Millinery Centre Synagogue on 6th Ave. at about 3 p.m. and made off with $500 in cash.
Cops are asking for the public’s help finding him.
They described him as Black, approximately in his 30’s, 5’8″ tall, 180 pounds, with a medium complexion, medium build, black hair and brown eyes.
