TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – Five teenagers riding two motorcycles involved in a recent accident after illegally entering the Tangerang-Jakarta toll road were discharged from the hospital today.
The police have yet to question the teens, who claimed to be coming home from school on Sunday afternoon, even though they have been discharged from the hospital.
“We will question them later, they are currently still in a state of trauma,” said West Jakarta’s traffic police head Adj. Sr. Comr. Ganet Sukoco today.
At the time of the accident, the five teens, comprising a 14-year-old, three 13-year-olds, and a 12-year-old, were riding their motorcycles against the traffic flow after realizing they had mistakenly entered the toll road.
The teens eventually crashed into a vehicle that caused the car to sustain minor damages, while the lead motorcycle endured heavy damages.
