Two suspects are in custody and a third is on the loose after an armed robbery at a north-side Indianapolis AutoZone.
Officers arrived at 5455 N. Keystone Ave. at approximately 9:25 p.m. Friday on reports of a possible armed robbery in progress. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department set up a perimeter around the AutoZone and observed three people exit the building while wearing clothing that concealed their faces.
Officers confronted the suspects, who were armed with handguns, according to IMPD. One officer fired two shots. It isn’t clear whether any of the suspects were hit. No officers were injured.
