A man arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of a man in Trafford has been bailed.
Police and ambulance crews were called to a house Moorside Road in Flixton just before midnight on Saturday to reports of a disturbance.
A man, believed to be in his 60s, was taken to hospital, where he later died.
Detectives arrested a 34-year-old man on suspicion of murder. He has now been bailed pending further enquiries.
A spokesman for GMP said on Monday afternoon: “Shortly before midnight on Saturday , November 3, police were called to reports of a disturbance at a property on Moorside Road, Flixton.
“Officers attended and a man, believed to be in his 60s, was taken to hospital where he sadly died.
“A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
“Enquiries into the full circumstances surrounding this incident remain ongoing.”
