One Dead in School Bus Accident in West Little Rock

0 4

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Police say it appears the school bus driver was run over by his own school bus.

LRPD says the driver may have parked the bus, got out, bus shifted out of park then the driver tried running after it.

The Pulaski County Special School District (PCSSD) confirmed Monday afternoon that the school bus that crashed was not the bus that experienced mechanical issues. The PCSSD employee fixed the issue and students left on that original bus.

No students were on the bus that crashed, and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.

PCSSD officials say no students were on the scene at all, and there were very few witnesses as the incident happened on a side road without much traffic.
