Two men, both armed with handguns, forced their way into a residence, pointed a gun at the 59-year-old cancer patient and kicked her in the face.
RCMP have arrested a 37-year-old man in connection with a home invasion robbery in Sicamous in which a terminally ill woman was assaulted at gun point.
The incident which involved two male and one female suspect occurred Oct. 24.
Sicamous RCMP say two men, both armed with handguns, forced their way into a residence and pointed a gun at the 59-year-old cancer patient and kicked her in the face.
Robert Christopher Bomba was arrested in Nanaimo and charged with forcible confinement, disguising his face while committing an offence, assault causing bodily harm, break and enter, failing to comply with probation, and possession of stolen property over $5,000.
Nanaimo RCMP arrested him on two outstanding warrants — failing to comply with probation and driving while prohibited..
Bomba remains in custody and was due to scheduled to make a court appearance Tuesday afternoon.
