Two men have been charged with murder after a 28-year-old man was shot dead in Northampton.
Father of two Joshua Bains, died of a gunshot wound on the evening of October 4 during an incident on Webb Drive in Upton.
Jerome Smikle, 27, and Kayongo Shuleko, 25, both of St Leonard’s Road, Far Cotton, were arrested following a raid of an address on Dunster Road, The Mounts.

They are due to appear at Northampton Magistrates’ Court on Monday, Northamptonshire Police said.
Mr Bains’ family said he was a ‘fantastic son, brother, partner and father to two wonderful children’.
DCI Ally White, of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit Major Crime team, said the force was still appealing for witnesses.
‘We are still appealing for witnesses to the incident on October 4 in Upton and, in addition, we are seeking information from the public who may have seen the drivers of a Vauxhall Astra and a Ford Focus acting suspiciously in the village of Norton, near Daventry, shortly afterwards,’ DCI White said.

A third man, 22-year-old Lewis Carmody, has been charged with assisting an offender in connection with the killing after being remanded into custody on October 10.
A 25-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and a 23-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder have been released under investigation.
A fourth man arrested on suspicion of a possession of a firearm has been released with no further action.
