KCSO: Suspect flees after robbery at Lee’s Market

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) – The Knox County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Unit is investigating a robbery at Lee’s Market off of Clinton Highway Saturday afternoon. 

According to KCSO, the suspect came into the store and demanded all the money in the register and left with cash and lottery tickets. Nigel Brown, the manager at Lee’s Market, said the suspect fled with around $120-$130.

He may have been armed. He is described as a bald, black male wearing a black hoodie, black shorts, and black shoes and stands at 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. 

The suspect could possibly be driving in a black four door Dodge sedan. 

No one was injured in the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call the Knox County Sheriff’s Office at 865-215-2444 or 865-215-2242.
