GEORGETOWN, Del. – A Dover man is facing charges after he was identified as the suspect in a string of burglaries in Georgetown.
On October 10th, Georgetown Police were called to investigate thefts from several vehicles at a business on the 100 block of North Race Street. The suspect reportedly gained entry by climbing a fence and then entering several vehicles on the property.
Georgetown Police received another call the following day, October 11th, for a reported theft from a vehicle at a business on Bridgeville Road in Georgetown.
Through investigation, detectives were able to identify 53-year-old Roy Perdow, of Dover, as the suspect in the incidents. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with 10 counts of 3rd degree burglary, 2nd degree trespass, 3rd degree trespass, and 10 counts of attempted theft. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $5,500 unsecured bond.
