“Our worry is retaliatory attacks. We don’t want to let our kids play in the street.
“It may have been a targeted attack but it was absolute madness. You think ‘what if I had been caught up in the middle of it?’ Would you be brave enough to step in or would you look after your kid with you?
“They need to be put away for a long time. It was butchery in broad daylight.”
Any local resident said: “Everybody is traumatised. He has two small kids. It’s very sad.
“What is the world coming to?”
