A single-car accident in Paramus closed down the Route 4 ramp connecting to Route 17 Thursday afternoon, police said.
There were no major injuries but the driver, a 27-year-old Dover man, was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with elbow pain, Sgt. Michael Guglielmo said.
“The driver felt the vehicle leaning too heavily as he took the exit ramp and hit the brakes, and caused it to go on its side,” Guglielmo said.
There was one passenger in the car, who was uninjured.
The ramp was reopened shortly after the accident, the sergeant said.
