Air ambulance called after TWO children hit by car

The North West Air Ambulance was called in after two children were hit by a car on a main road.

Emergency services were called following the collision in West Road, Crewe, at around 10.35am this morning.

Paramedics and a doctor treated the children at the scene, but it is unclear at this time whether they were taken to hospital.

A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “At 10.35am police and ambulance attended to reports of a pedestrian road traffic collision in West Street, Crewe.

“The RTC involved one car and two child pedestrians. An air ambulance attended with a doctor and paramedics.

“Anyone who witnessed the collision can contact PC 4167 Hill on 101 quoting IML 199138.”
