Ms Zmijan’s body was discovered in the back garden of an address in Whittington Avenue at about 9.40am on Monday.

She died of a head injury after a sustained assault with a heavy blunt object, a post-mortem examination revealed yesterday.

Detectives say they are not seeking anyone else in connection with the investigation.

Last night, Scotland Yard released a picture of Ms Zmijan, from Southall, who was reported missing on Saturday.
