$5000 reward offered to help nab BC man charged with murder

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) is seeking public assistance to locate and arrest 27-year-old Brandon Nathan Teixeira for murder. IHIT

IHIT says Brandon Teixeira is likely armed and dangerous.

Police are offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a B.C. man wanted on a murder charge.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team continues to track down 27-year-old Brandon Teixeira, who is believed to be armed and dangerous.

The award can be claimed through Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or on the website www.solvecrime.ca.

Teixeira was charged with first degree murder in September in connection with the shooting death of 28-year-old Nicholas Khabra on October 23, 2017, in Surrey. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

He is believed to be somewhere in the Lower Mainland. Investigators have also learned that Teixeira has associates in Edmonton and Calgary, and urge residents there to also be on the lookout.

Police describe Teixeira as Caucasianm 5’10 and 161 lbs, with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a snake tattoo on the left side of his chest, and a sleeve tattoo on his left arm.
